Rebecca is a certified nurse midwife and advanced practice registered nurse. She graduated in 2011 from Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshire where I completed my bachelor's degree in Nursing. Most recently, I finished my master's degree here in Virginia at Shenandoah University and became board certified in midwifery in September 2017.
Her background includes nearly a decade of experiences in primary care, medical surgical nursing, and care of the well woman throughout the lifespan. Having worked alongside a diverse patient population caring for all genders, cultures, and socioeconomic statuses. She has attended laboring women, seeing them through to their deliveries and postpartum care in both the hospital and birth center settings. She has taken on leadership roles, both, as a charge nurse and as a clinical instructor guiding nursing students at Rivier University.
She is eager to utilize her expertise to provide midwifery modeled and advanced practice care and has a true passion for educating patients about their bodies, sexual and reproductive health, and contraception. She seeks to offer the highest level of patient and family centered care to our female population through education, empowerment, and advocacy she believes women can feel empowered to achieve their optimal health goals. Throughout her nursing and advanced practice careers Rebecca has and will continue to provide our patients with a level of compassion and respect that fosters a patient-provider relationship.
